Happy Black Friday. I hope you survived. My mom and I accomplished a lot of Christmas shopping, but we avoided the crazy sales. What I really want to to talk about is Small Business Saturday and highlight a few of my favorite to support.
I encourage you to shop small, support a friend’s MLM, or skip Starbucks and get your caffeine fix at a local coffee shop.
Wouldn’t it be cool if all your Perfect Little Beauty Gifts, Products, or entertaining essentials came from small businesses? I think so! Keep reading to learn about the small businesses, run by women I’ve met through social media. And yes, I have bought or received a service from each of these women and their businesses, but I receive NO incentive for blogging about them. Except that I am super passionate about sharing their talents with you.
B.E. Humble is owned by Brittany Humble, an incredible woman full of faith and fashion. I have the honor of working for her while in college and shopping her continually changing inventory. B.E. Humble’s merchandise is fashionable and made for the average woman!
What sets this amazing boutique apart is the customer service. B.E. Humble stylist/employees make women feel and look their best thanks to Brittany! It’s been incredible styling customers and working behind the scenes for B.E. Humble! It’s a company run by Fashion-faith-family.
I love decorating and hosting parties almost as much as I love shoes! I met Emily Smith through a comment pod on Instagram this summer. Her personal IG is clean, chic, and refreshing.
What really inspires me is her business on Etsy. She makes luxurious decor that looks like it’s made by a high-end brand! Bye Emily Smith specializes in boutique decor for any occasion.
I’ve never been a fan of Etsy shops until I found Bye Emily Smith. Her designs are chic and elegant. They do not look cheesy, crafted, or handmade. There’s something so special about her decor, and I look forward to planning my next event around her gorgeous balloons, banners, cake toppers, cupcake toppers, decals, plates & straws, and other custom decor!
Handmade Beauty Products
Sydney Roth is the beautiful biochemist behind plant powered makeup and skincare! She sells lip, bath, and skincare products. I am the lucky recipient of her Cherry Bomb Lipgloss, which literally smells like the freshest jar of cherries ever!
I am incredibly impressed by her company Tasteeface Cosmetics, and I respect the work and research she puts into providing mineral powered cosmetics that are vegan/vegetarian, cruelty free, & handmade.
She makes me feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, which I am totally not. Madi Behan captures people’s personalities, while providing. Her photographic style is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend her for any of your photographic needs.
Nails by Mar
I am lucky enough to have some extra cash to spend on my nails I go to Marisa! She is an incredibly talented nail tech at the French Twist, and the sweetest thing. You have to check out her page Nails by Mar, where she shows her gorgeous, quality work.
You can book any nail service with her online or call 567-395-4177! Her prices and services are amazing by the way. Thank you Marisa for always making my nails healthy and beautiful, which makes me feel better.
Brittany Anderson is a Senior Stylist at Stella & Dot. I knew nothing about the company, but I found a few things that I liked. Without ever meeting she helped me make my first purchase. Plus she shared incredibly deals with me.
Brittany also manages a blog called In Style with Britt. I can’t wait to get my first (of many) jewelry orders from Stella & Dot. They have unique, beautiful pieces you can’t find in-stores nowadays. Definitely reach out to Brittany Anderson with any questions. She is really sweet and helpful.
Skincare with R+F
Skincare is so important. I am still learning what’s best, and why my skin does crazy things. Therefore, it’s nice to have a friend like Katie Carver who knows and cares about EVERYONE’S skin. I believe in Katie Carver and the quality of her products as much as I do in Jesus! Which is a lot!
On a personal note, Katie is an incredible friend. She’s also a brilliant masters student, leasing professional, and coffee enthusiast with a heart of gold.
